Water is one of the most important resources on Earth. We use it for drinking, cooking, cleaning, farming, and even producing electricity. Every person needs water to stay healthy and to grow food. But only a small amount of Earth’s water is fresh and safe to drink. Most of the water on the planet is salt water in oceans. Conserving water means using it carefully and wisely. If we waste water now, future generations may not have enough.
